Your submission consists of a pitch for backing for that entrepreneurial venture.
Your submission should be written in a way to appeal to angel investors, venture capitalists or other entrepreneurial backers. It
should be part vision, part strategy, part plan, part sales pitch.
You have only 2,000 words to get your idea over in as clear, impactful and creative way as possible.
ONE POSSIBLE structure could be
pitch. In 100 words what is
your idea? Why is it special?Competitors/the Market. Who else is in the space, what do they do and how are you different? (250 words)The Product/Service. Your idea in detail. How it will work. 8.You should write a 350 word response to the following question that you might be asked in an interview: “Focusing on your work on this Unit, what did you as an
individual learn about yourself as a creative-entrepreneur and the nature of creative entrepreneurship?”
Your response should be a critical self-reflection on the work you did and your individual contribution to the outcome. Remember that this is an ‘interview scenario’. You should think of your (written) response as though you were trying to sell yourself in an interview.
The word counts is 2,000 words but you can use any visuals, infographics or multimedia content you think adds value to your pitch. DO NOT add for the sake of it and
do not let it distract from the message.
