looks at the overall picture of marijuana use and the effects from a
pharmacological view. The authors go in detail about how marijuana affects the
brain, vital bodily organs, reproductive organs and affects overall behavior.
This research also described what goes on in the brain during marijuana use.
This article is useful in analyzing marijuana from a pharmacological point of
view.

Tatiana Shohov offers a very in detail background on the events of the
use of medical marijuana. Shohov offered relevant background information about
how much U.S citizens use it and the federal perspective of this. Tatiana
Shohov described the general implications of using the drug both recreationally
and medically. She referenced other medical professionals and their relevant
studies. While Shohov did not offer an opinion of whether it should be legal,
she offered a thorough analysis about the relevant facts and opinions on the
subject.

The main
subject, JJ, was a very disturbed child. JJ had a history of psychotic and
socially dysfunctional behavior. His mother tried various form of treatment to
help him adjust to society, many of these attempts included a variety of drugs
that sought to reduce JJ’s violent behaviors. Unfortunately, these treatments
seemed to make JJ’s condition worse or did not help at all. Desperately, when
his mother approved the use of medical marijuana, JJ’s behavior improved
dramatically. His violent and psychotic behavior not only went away completely,
but he began to excel in the classroom and even wanted to help other
classmates.
