Teaching the Aboriginal children requires the educators to identify the kinds of teaching strategies that are more effective for engaging with the Aboriginal children (Nelson & Hay, 2010). According to Victoria State Government (2017), there is a need to develop an educational theory and a pedagogy that would take into account the indigenous point of view and at the same time the content of curriculum resources that is relevant for the Aboriginal educational needs, apart from the eradication of racial discrimination.
