Topic: opiod epidemic, when does it stop? The Annotated Bibliography is set up and formatted exactly like all the other working bibliographies that you have done so far. The only difference this time is that it should be far more comprehensive and provide more information that will help you finalize the use of the sources.. I admit that this is more an assignment that helps me keep track of what you’re doing, but like the textbook authors say, the Annotated Bib. can provide you with help in evaluating your sources, if done correctly and in the right spirit. It also is a marvelous way to help you since it forces you to take notes about your source and to pick out some good and useful quotations from each source. Here’s how I would like you to set it up. Set up the Annotated Bib by alphabetizing your list of sources by author’s last name or by the first word of the title in quotation marks if there is not author. Use the hanging indention style for the second and/ or third line of each entry and indent also the entire annotation. The annotation below each source should include the following information in paragraph form: 1. a brief sentence or two about the source’s content. Include at least TWO good solid quotations from the source that you think you will want to use. 2. how the source will be useful to you 3. any criticisms of the source, including any biases or flaws you detect in the source The Annotated Bibliography will be graded (30 pts) on completeness and correctness of format. You should include ALL the sources you have found thus far that you will be using at some point in the paper, roughly 15-20. Remember however that your final paper MUST use from 12-15 sources. BE SURE TO SAVE THIS ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY TO YOUR HARD DRIVE BEFORE YOU UPLOAD IT ON SAFEASSIGN. That way when you go to print up your final Works Cited(MLA) of References page(APA), you will already have a correct list of your sources(or you will only have to make minor adjustments once you receive your graded Annotated Bib. back from me).
