Topic Task B: Garlic and blood pressure/hypertension (specifically) Task: Conduct a systematic review mini research project which will include the collection or extraction of data which you will then analyse and interpret. The information that you collate will be used to design an abstract (Task A) and an academic poster (Task B). Develop a research protocol to discuss the topic of choice based on recognised methodologies, e.g. Population, Intervention, Control, Outcome, and Study Design (PICOS), critical appraisal approach, or Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines for reporting systematic reviews. The search strategy should be clearly outlined and narrowed down to articles that were published between 2009 and 2019 only. It is expected to come up with a more specific title based on the findings of the systematic review search (topic task b). Following a given database search, you will be expected to use the inclusion and exclusion criteria to narrow down on the number of articles. You will then use this information to design an individual poster (Task B). This should be written in the same format as a systematic review abstract. Task B You are also required to design an individual poster which will include: Introduction/ background; research question; methodology; results: discussion and conclusion. The poster should include appropriate figures and tables (labelled according to scientific standards) with suitable and relevant imagery. You will produce a comprehensive reference list in the Harvard Style.
