Individual Report – 4,500 words
Each of the students is required to produce a research report of 4,500 words to address the following areas. Students are strongly encouraged to utilise relevant theories/concepts/tools/ techniques, showing distinctive, independent and critical thinking.
Digital technologies such as big data analytics and artificial intelligence are now considered key sources of competitive advantage. Critically evaluate your chosen company/organisation’s current digital adoption; based upon to develop an effective digital business strategy that may be implemented to increase competitiveness. Discussions and applications of strategic analytical tools are expected in this part of report.
Critically appraise how the chosen company/organisation manages its business performance.Within this part of submission critical discussions of the business performance management tools are required. A list of the key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure its performance should also be provided.Critically evaluate the big data technology, indicating how this technology could be exploited by the company in order to enhance its business performance.
Reference List will contain between 15 to 20 sources. As a MINIMUM the Reference List should include 4 refereed academic journals and 5 academic books.
