Prompt:  A famous football coach once said, “Winning isn’t everything…it’s the only thing.” Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Introduction:
If you had the opportunity to make one wish that would certainly become true, what would it be? This is a controversial question that everyone will have a different choice and answer. Perhaps, some people would like to become rich while others would ask for a job, a house, a new car, or money. However, did you imagine that some of them would like to always win? There are some people that consider winning is the only thing, avoiding all the other possibilities, yet on the other hand, other people believe this is not true and not even close to reality. In fact, I also disagree with the football coach’s quote that winning is the only thing, and I believe that winning by itself doesn’t symbolize proficiency.

Topic sentence 1:  To begin with, people should always make alternate possibilities.

Topic sentence 2:  Another reason why I disagree with the football coach is because winning isn’t the final step.

Topic sentence 3 (using counterargument and refutation technique): Finally, some people argue that winning is the sign of strength and capability that makes a person more appealing. Nevertheless, I think that losing makes a person more determined and stronger; if it’s not physically, then it’s for sure morally and mentally.
