Evolution of Product Project – Revise & Resubmit
EOP-3RR
Due: 11/22/21
Individual Assignment

EOP-3 Revise & Resubmit Overview

EOP-3 examined the trajectory of a product from ancient times to today. The original assignment was a Team assignment. For the Revise & Resubmit, it is now an individual assignment.

The goal for the R&R is to take one of the inflection points you created in your team’s original report and turn it into a stand-alone document. This is your opportunity to correct mistakes in the original, provide missing information, and produce a clear and concise report. While I expect you to address the comments received on your original report, this is NOT a simple rewrite of your section – it is a new document that summarizes key elements of your shared report and improves the description of your specific inflection point.

Review the Grading Rubric to see how points will be allocated.

Content Requirements

· Title Block (could be a separate page, but doesn’t have to be) containing:
· “EOP-3 Revise & Resubmit”
· Product Name: Bidet. Inflection Point(1800-1960)
· Your Name, Team Number

1.0 Introduction (1 paragraph)
· State the end product name (i.e., the name of the most current product)
· Describe the fundamental need it now fulfills
· Describe how this need (or some version of this need) was met in ancient times

2.0 Dimensions of Value (1+ paragraph)
· Describes the key dimensions of value for the final version of the product
· Expect to have at least 5

3.0 Product Components (1+ paragraph)
· Describe the parts/components that make up the most current version of the product
· Expect to have at least 4 components

4.0 Inflection Point Analysis (2-4 paragraphs)
· Name your inflection point
· Place your inflection point into context relative to the trajectory spanning ancient times to now (e.g., how does it fit into the overall trajectory)
· Describe how the components of your product changed from prior ones
· Describe how your product rates relative to the Dimensions of Value discussed in 2.0 (better worse, are there different DoVs, did some go away, new ones emerge)
· Analyze why your inflection point happened (e.g., changes in technology? Availability of materials? Social or economic factors?)
· Provide a picture of the product at your inflection point (or an image that represents it, if from long ago)

5.0 References
· References listed in alphabetical order by author
· Citations to the references in the text

6.0 Special Notes
· If there was anything out of the ordinary (see Item #1 of instructions below), explain the situation. For example, if you hadn’t listed the authors for each inflection point – then list who was responsible for what inflection points. Describe how you are handling it for the R&R.
· All team members must complete Section 6.0 Special Notes if their team (a) received deductions for missing sections or (b) did not crediting individuals for each inflection point.

EOP-3RR Instructions

1. Use the inflection point you were responsible for in your team report.

2. This is an individual assignment, so all content must be your writing.
· You are allowed to pull material from the shared sections of EOP-3 (e.g., introduction, starting point, end point)
· You are expected to improve that material (summarize it, fix mistakes, synthesize ideas, add to the analysis, condense it)

3. Format your report based on the following the Business Formatting Instructions:
· Use the Section Headers listed under Content Requirements to organize your report and make sure that you address everything.
· Paragraphs in block format (no initial indent) with an empty line between paragraphs
· Single spaced, Times New Roman 12pt font, 1” margins around
· Running header with your name in it
· Page numbers in lower right corner

4. Submit single Word or PDF file
· Name File: “EOP-3RR_YourName_TeamNumber”
